Marine Services

The Minnesota boating season is too short to not have your equipment in working order. Here at DS Powersports we strive to keep your boat, pontoon and PWC in top shape so you can enjoy all that the lakes have to offer.

Whether it’s a spring start-up to ensure everything is in good working order, or a repair after a breakdown, or marine accessories to amplify the fun, we’ve got you covered.

We offer service on all types of marine equipment; Boats, Pontoons, and Personal Watercraft

We only work on boats and motors that are 1993 and newer. Why?

  • Generally speaking, the older a machine is the harder it is to find parts.
  • Often, especially after an older machine has been sitting for a long period of time, one problem leads to another. When that happens repairs can get expensive fast, and often add up to more than a it is worth.
In addition to working on marine equipment, we also offer pontoon trailers for rent. For more infomation on all of our trailers available to rent, click here.

Spring Start-Up

To make sure your watercraft is ready to hit the water we offer a spring-start up which includes:

  • Unwrap and disposal of shrinkwrap materials (if it is wrapped)
  •  Battery service (charge, test and install)
  • Fluids check
  • Start and run the motor, verify proper runability
  • Verify proper function of mechanical, electrical and cooling functions
Our spring start-ups range from $49-$99, and are complimentary for winterize/wrap/storage customers. For more information, and pricing for your watercraft, contact us using the form below.

Winterizing

Winterizing is the process of preparing a boat, pontoon or personal watercraft (PWC) for winter storage. Elements of winterizing include draining fuel, changing the oil and filter, flushing the system with antifreeze, and doing a general inspection of the machine and trailer.

Winterizing your machine is preventative maintenance. It prevents components from freezing during the winter which could mean costly repairs. It also helps to ensure an easy start-up next season. Ultimately it prevents off-season damage and helps to increase the longevity of your watercraft.
